first voyage.
[ Action: 7134 Brooks Lane. Set for Monday morning. ]
[ Ambrosia was honestly expecting to be waking up in her bed on the Mary with her crew hard at work with cleaning the deck and everything else that was part of their morning routine. However, waking up in bed with a complete stranger (attractive as he was) wasn't a part of her routine.
So, she merely turns around in bed and looks at the pictures that are on the nightstand. This... isn't her family. She hasn't had children and, well... all of this is just wrong.
Well, there was no use in just sitting around, so after getting out of bed, she's going to go to the closet to start rifling through things and tossing stuff over her shoulder occasionally. Apparently, she thinks that Marvelous' side is her side. ]
[ Phone ]
[ Sometime later, she's going to attempt to use the phone. Let's see how this will turn out. ]
...what is this strange thing? Am I s'posed t' shoot it or somethin'? What happened t' meetin' people face-t'-face?
...Oh, I think it's on. Anyway...
Right, so -- I don't quite think th' housewife position is suited fer me, honestly. So, if someone can direct me t' where me ship 'n me crew are, ye'll be paid handsomely. Oh, 'n don't try t' get one up on me 'cause I won't take it lightly.
But, anyway - I'm Captain Ambrosia Gray of th' Bloody Mary. I may not know ye, however tha' can certainly change, aye? 'N some information 'bout where I've been taken would be lovely. Thank ye fer ye efforts.
[ Action: General Store. ]
[ Well, after dealing with that damn phone, Ambrosia has set out in a long warm coat and underneath it is a man's suit. She's looking to either steal some firearms or simply... liberate them. See, she's not stealing.Yet.
Certainly she looks to be too suspicious around here, but apparently society's standards don't bother her too much. After all, it's pretty much the same when she's at home - so why would she change her behavior just because she's in a new place? She'll continue to be who she is, even with society still being dumb. ]
Now... 'round how many shots will I be gettin'...

7134 Brooks Lane: Monday Morning
White again. What I wouldn't give to wake up to wooden walls again.
[And then a piece of clothing hit him in the head. Throwing it off and tearing himself out of bed, he saw that things were now much more interesting.]
Well now. Looks like you had a change of face overnight, creepy woman.
[It was a nickname he'd given his 'wife' last week. She'd had a pretty null-reaction to it.]
7134 Brooks Lane: Monday Morning
[ Because, hey, that means that things are normal. This place? Not normal, at least to her.
She does pause, however, and turn to look over her shoulder. ]
I've been called lots of things, but creepy woman is a new one. Tell me, are ye always this charmin' with th' ladies?
Re: 7134 Brooks Lane: Monday Morning
Finally. You got some fight in you. Maybe I'll drop the nickname if you keep it up.
[Though he's now starting to get the realization that this might not be the same woman that had been sleeping next to him for the last few weeks.]
no subject
Well, whoever was in yer bed th' last time was replaced with me. Surely ye must miss 'em, hmm?
[ Well, from the way she talks, that should be enough of a hint. ]
no subject
Not in the slightest. Worst cook I've ever had.
[He bends down and snatches his coat and medallion out from under the bed. He didn't want to chance them getting starched. He quickly puts the coat on over the rather drab pajamas he was stuck wearing]
Much better.
no subject
[ Since, well, she's apt to blow up the house if she cooks. Have fun with that, Marvelous.
...but wait, those clothes look well enough to be considered pirate clothes. So, then, maybe...
Nope. All she finds are skirts, dresses and other froofy clothes. ]
What's th' meanin' of this? Where's me clothes?
no subject
[Notices her frowning at the current selection of attire]
You'll have to deal with that for a while. I did for a while. They'll get itchy, believe you me. But, since I got these in the mail last week, I'm sure yours'll be along eventually.
You certainly seem tough enough for the challenge.
no subject
[ Well, Ambrosia's not going to put up with just girly clothes. So, she just strolls over to Marvelous' side of the closet and picks out a suit. ]
Ye don't mind if I temporarily borrow these, hmm? I assure ye, me true clothes are much better than tha' monstrosity of a wardrobe.
no subject
[Smooths the jacket after slipping his medallion on]
So, you have a name, or should I just come up with something new?
no subject
[ Heh. Heehee. You asked for it. ]
I'm Captain Ambrosia Gray of th' Bloody Mary. Now, ye must have a name, too.
no subject
[Up for the challenge!]
Captain Marvelous, of the Gokai Galleon.
no subject
[ Oh, she thinks this is gonna be so much fun. ]
A pleasure to make yer acquaintance, though. 'Round what seas do ye sail on?
no subject
Any seas I want. But, I tend to stick to space more than sea.
no subject
...space? So, ye sail among th' stars, then?
no subject
[Not that normal treasure at this point is of any real relevance to Marvelous, but he's not about to let slip about the Greatest Treasure in the Universe]
Indeed. Been on Earth for a while now, but once we're done there, we're back off to where-ever we want.
no subject
[ Life on the seas has taught Ambrosia to always look beyond the things in front of you, so she thinks that there's something more to what Marvelous is saying. But, she assumes it'll come out in due time. ]
Must be nice t' sail wherever ye want. Fer me, I sail on all th' seven seas 'n pillage me guts out on all th' treasure I want.
no subject
Not everywhere. Zangyack makes moving around space rather difficult.
no subject
Ahhh. I've ran into somethin' like th' Zangyack multiple times. 'Tis why I've got the 175,000 dobras bounty on me head.
no subject
No clue what a 'dobra' is, but if you want to compare bounties, my current is 5 million zagin.
no subject
But, dobras are what th' currency in me world are.
[ Then, she stares at him for a bit. ]
...Did you manage t' steal from, like, every noble out there or somethin'?
no subject
[Smug grin is smug]
Some nobles; the military treasury, blew a number of installations, and have basically been making a fool of the Idiot Prince in his attempt to conquer Earth for about 6 moths now. And I'm sure the fact that we use the Super Sentai powers isn't endearing ourselves none.
no subject
[ Not... gonna touch the bomb attack because ahaha what is that.
But, she does make a low whistle sound before chuckling. ]
Sounds like ye've been quite th' busy one. As fer me, I kidnapped, pillaged, impersonated a nun 'n a noble - th' latter I liked quite much, though - murdered, stole, was dishonest, disturbed th' peace, went into public intoxicated, conspired, did a bit of forgery 'n fraud t' go along with it.
[ Though, pause. He said powers. ]
'N what sort of powers are these "Super Sentai", love?
no subject
[Looting and pillaging for Marvelous may or may not be at the moment limited to his stomach]
Very busy. But it seems you have quite a lot of fun as well.
[Hmmm...how to explain 30+ years of these multicolored people....]
The Super Sentai are a group of Earthlings that used varying weaponry and...I suppose mystic powers to defend their planet. They drove off Zangyack a few years before we arrived, but lost their abilities. We gathered them up...for something I can't tell you about, and I suppose that Zangyack is a little PO'd about us looking like the ones who humiliated them on a seemingly backwater world.
no subject
[ YEP. That is how she'll pretty much roll here. ]
Aye. Ye have t' keep yer life from bein' too depressin' or lazy.
[ Though, she gives a small smirk when he starts to explain about the Super Sentai before nodding every so often to show that she was listening. ]
What's this thing ye can't tell me 'bout? It ain't like I'm gonna run off 'n tell who's in charge here 'bout yer escapades. That, 'n I'm not 'bout t' shoot me allies in th' foot.
no subject
By the way, you run into someone here named Basco ta Jolokia, be VERY wary. He's scum, even for a pirate...well...I suppose he prefers privateer.
[Not that recently getting shot at is helping his opinion]
